My Artistic Trajectory
My journey began in 1999 in Scotland, where I collaborated with a team of three creating video art using tapes and VCRs. In 2002, I moved to graphic design and also transitioned to digital photography with a 2-megapixel (!) Sony hybrid camera.
By 2005, I had entered the publishing world, and photography turned from a profession to a passion until 2009, when I returned to it. I pressed pause again from 2019 to 2024 to complete my master's in Education and teach K-8. I am currently exited to be behind the camera as the lead photographer for the Bozeman Daily Chronicle.
I currently maintain my own photography business where I specialize in Wedding Photojournalism, Architecture and Event Cover. Every project is an opportunity to tell a unique story and create lasting memories.
My approach combines technical expertise with creative vision. I believe in capturing authentic moments rather than staged perfection, bringing out the natural beauty in every subject whether it's a stunning architectural structure or a candid portrait.
